United We Stand

United We StandGovernments at all levels make decisions that affect working people's lives every day. Sometimes these decisions are in the interests of working people. Too often they are not.

Elections are our best opportunity to affect the decisions governments make. We do so by influencing party policy and platforms, and by choosing who will best represent us.

United We Stand is a BC Federation of Labour program to engage our members in a dialogue about the issues that affect them and about politicians and political parties and where they stand on key issues.

Federal Election 2011 - Vote May 2

During this federal election, we are providing two key tools to help you stay up on the issues and to share information with your friends, family and colleagues.

Please be sure to "Like" our Facebook page, and regular updates will appear in your home feed. Then get active in the conversation. Ask questions about issues, and we'll track down the answers. Or just share your thoughts.

Follow us on Twitter and get up-to-date facts, figures and arguments on the issues that are important to you.

You can also download our Political Parties Report Card by clicking here. See where the parties stand on key issues and give them a grade. (Or, save time and download our graded version here).

*Please note that the report card was accurate at the time it was uploaded. Sometimes parties make announcements during the campaign. We will keep the website up to date as the campaign develops.
