More than 2,000 UNITE HERE Local 40 hotel workers at downtown Vancouver hotels have been in contract negotiations since the end of June. UNITE HERE Local 40 food service workers at GM Place and the Vancouver Airport have been organizing for respect and justice on the job. Many of these workers are women, immigrants and people of colour.
