Pay Equity Benefit Concert for Library Worker Hardship Fund

VANCOUVER - The City of Vancouver's 800 library workers, represented by CUPE 391, have been on strike for almost a month and a half now. They would like to see our "civil city include pay equity" among other vital improvements for library workers. This is thier first strike in their 77 year history. Local bands and supporters have come together to hold a benefit concert for the group this Saturday, September 8th, 2007 at the Maritime Labour Auditorium at 8:00pm. Admission is by donation. All are welcome!
