INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY (IWD) BREAKFAST 2008

Date: Friday March 7, 2008 from 7:30 am to 9:00 am

METROTOWN HILTON HOTEL - 6083 MCKAY AVENUE, BURNABY

In conjunction with this year's breakfast, we will be releasing an update to our 2005 Report, Losing Ground: The Effects of Government Cutbacks on Women in British Columbia. The Director of the UBC Centre for Women's and Gender Studies and co-author of this report, Professor Gillian Creese, will be speaking on this at the breakfast.

Tickets are only $10 each, and each table accommodates 8 participants. All proceeds from the breakfast go toward scholarships to the 2008 Summer Institute for Union Women.

To order individual tickets, please call our switchboard at 604-430-1421 or complete the attached form and fax it back to the Federation office as soon as possible. All tickets purchased will be held for pickup at the registration table at the IWD Breakfast. Please bring your payment, either cash or cheque, with you on March 7th. Cheques should be made payable to the B.C. Federation of Labour.

All tickets will be sold on a first-come basis. Space is limited so order yours early.
