CUPE Writerfest

Public Libraries: Keep Them Local
Authors, bibliophiles, reference users, and library lovers - please join moderator Daniel Gawthrop along with panelists Caroline Adderson, Carellin Brooks, David Chariandy, Larissa Lai, Stan Persky and Bill Tieleman for a discussion on the importance of locally-purchased materials and collection development.
PLACE: Alice MacKay Room, Central Library, 350 West Georgia
As the month is October and B.C. is awash with wine festivals, we will be honouring this in our own inimitable way. One drink ticket per person will be given out with your invitation. B.C. beer and wine will be served to celebrate the oenophiles' cultural collections. The evening promises to be tremendous fun-and right in the middle of the Writers Festival.
We have a liquor license. This means the event is invitation only and consequently we need you to RSVP.
