“STRIKE UP THE BAND” B.C. FEDERATION OF LABOUR 50TH ANNIVERSARY CONCERT

Date: Wednesday December 31, 1969 from 4:00 pm to 4:00 pm

In conjunction with our upcoming Convention, we have been working with the Vancouver Folk Music Festival Society to hold a special concert to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of the B.C. Federation of Labour.

This event at the Orpheum on Thursday, November 30, at 8:00 pm is a musical celebration in dance and song of our movement and its struggles, showcasing a range of BC talent. The performance is hosted by Joey Keighley of DOA and will include slam poetry, an outstanding band fronted by Blues master Jim Byrnes, and the Universal Gospel Choir

Tickets for non-delegates are available for purchase at a cost of $35.00 each (plus gst and service charges) and are available through Tickets Tonight at 604.231-7535 or online at www.Ticketstonight.ca.

One ticket will be provided free of charge to each delegate attending our Convention.
