Young Worker Retreat 2010
Date: Friday June 11, 2010 from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
Once again, the Federation is pleased to announce that we will be holding our annual 3-day Young Worker Retreat, open to all young union members under the age of 30.
Join other young workers from across the province for a weekend of workshops, networking, skills-building and fun. Highlights include:
- Learning about the labour movement and where young workers have a role to play in their unions and communities
- Gaining skills to take back to your union and workplace
- Enjoying a weekend with great people in a beautiful location!
In addition to the opportunity to network, there will be a number of activities and workshops over the three days.
The retreat will be taking place at Camp Jubilee, a beautiful location nestled in the mountains in the Indian Arm, only a short boat ride outside of Vancouver.
